🚲 Recall for e-bike batteries
November 26, 2025
Hi Seattle! Sam here. Yesterday, in the podcast, we reported that the 2026 budget includes an increase in sales tax of 0.1% and Jane shared that, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average Seattleite spends about $20,000 on food and entertainment every year. We made a mistake on the math and stated that 0.1% of $20k is $2,000. Thanks to our intrepid and math-genius listeners who pointed out that 0.1% of $20k is $20. We regret the error! The 0.1% sales tax increase still stands. Ok, on to today’s news.
